GigaMedia and Mythic Entertainment today announced that the MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will launch in Taiwan on June 25th. The game will be available on GigaMedia’s game platform, FunTown, in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, where players will now be able to choose a side in the growing battle between Order and Destruction and help decide the outcome of the WAR across the globe.

Developers of MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online has officially announced that new content update Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dum will be released on June 23. You already can download patch (800 Mb) from official LotRO site.

The plans of Gorothúl, sorcerer of Dol Guldur, begin to be made clear as ancient evils stir again in the depths of Khazad-dûm. Small fellowships must form to combat this emerging threat before the hopes of the Iron Garrison and the Elves of Lothlórien are ended by the darkness. The story of The Mines of Moria continues with new quests and challenges
The Summer Festival, coming in Book 8, now has two new events -- one in the Shire, on The Hill, and the second on the approach to Thorin's Hall.
Certain crafted equipment items had their minimum level usage requirement changed for Book 8. However, bound items in the player's possession which were changed to exceed the player's level will instead match the player's level. Non-bound and banked items are not versioned in this way. First Ages are now dropped via a barter system.Each raid now drops barter tokens that can be saved up to use to trade for the First Age item of your choice. Vile Maw, Strange Happenings, and Dar Narbugud will all drop multiple tokens.
There is a new aquatic swift-travel route between Tinnudir and The Eavespires for 25 silver.

Midsummer Fire Festival is coming back to Azeroth and Outlands. Until July 4th, gamers will participate in various events:
Every city has a prominently located Fire Festival camp where you can pick up quests to participate in the Festival fun. Shattrath City has a camp as well, but it does not offer all of the quests. The Midsummer Fire Festival has plenty to offer to both high level and lower level characters. By doing the quests and visiting the flames around the world, characters will earn gold, experience, and perhaps participate in some World PvP and exploration. In addition, groups of maximum level characters can summon a new boss with epic rewards for the duration of the event. Characters of all levels can turn in Burning Blossoms for unique Fire Festival rewards.
Level 70 players can undertake this questline that takes you to the Slave Pens to seek and defeat Ahune, the Frost Lord. Ahune is a special summonable boss, similar to the Headless Horseman, that is only available during the Fire Festival. Luma Cloudsister, located just inside the Slave Pens, directs your party to where you can find and defeat Ahune - and loot his special rewards, including a selection of epic items and a special Scorchling pet.
At every festival camp, one of these traditional decorations stands tall beside the bonfire. Take up one of the multi-colored ribbons and dance around the pole with your friends and fellow celebrants! The activity may appear a bit frivolous for your average ferocious fighter, but even the most seasoned veteran can appreciate the resulting 10% bonus to experience from killing monsters.

Long-waiting campaign Call to Arms! for MMOPRPG Warhammer Online culminates today with the launch of the Patch 1.3, and the Land of the Dead live expansion. As you remember, Land of the Dead is a large RvR gated zone taking inspiration from Dark Age of Camelot's "Darkness Falls".
The zone features a new dungeon, several instances, and tons of new items, including the all new Tyrant armor set. In addition to the included content, Patch 1.3 features countless bug fixes, new quality of life features, such as the ability to pass on Keep or Public Quest loot rolls, improvements to crafting, including a new crafting inventory bag, and more.
